Lenovo Flex System network switches

A variety of network switches are available for use with the Flex System Enterprise Chassis.

You can install a combination of up to four Ethernet or Fibre Channel scalable switches in the input/output (I/O) bays of the Enterprise Chassis. These scalable network switches provide the internal and external connectivity for the nodes and management devices in the chassis. If you need to verify that the switch is compatible with the chassis, go to the Lenovo ServerProven website.
Important:

  • The network switches in the chassis also must be compatible with the network adapters and ports in the nodes.
