The FC5024D 4-port 16 Gb Fibre Channel adapter is designed for use in Lenovo Flex System x222 compute nodes. This adapter is based on the Brocade 16 Gb Fibre Channel ASICs, and it uses industry-proven technology to provide the compute node with high-speed, reliable access to a Fibre Channel storage area network (SAN). The four ports enable redundant connections to the SAN, which can increase reliability and reduce downtime.
