This topic contains collections of quick start guides that have step-by-step instructions for how to set up your IBM Flex Systems Enterprise Chassis, related components, and management devices and interfaces. These quick start guides also include information about how to manage your IBM Flex System environment and how to use your hardware to achieve your business goals. This topic provides paths through the quick start guides to help you achieve a subset of common goals, but there are quick start guides in these collections that are not called out specifically in this topic. Be sure to browse the collections to find information on additional tasks you can perform using your IBM Flex System hardware.

Quick start guides for IBM Flex System build to order configurations

If you did not purchase an IBM PureFlex configuration, the first thing you have to do is install and configure your hardware, as follows:

Set up your virtualization environment
