Use these instructions to remove an I/O module from the Flex System Enterprise Chassis.
Before you remove the I/O module, complete the following steps:
- If possible, power down the I/O module from the Flex System Manager user interface, if one is installed, or from the Chassis Management Module user interface.
- Disconnect all cables from the I/O module.
To remove an I/O module, complete the following steps.
- Open the release handles (rotate the top handle up and the bottom handle down) to disengage the I/O module from the chassis.
- Slide the module out of the I/O bay and place it on a flat, static-protective surface.
