CAUTION:
To avoid personal injury, before lifting
the unit, remove all the blades, power supplies, and removable modules
to reduce the weight.

Complete the following steps:
- Remove the components from the front of the chassis and
place them on a flat, static-protective surface.
- Read Safety and Handling static-sensitive devices.
- Remove all of the installed compute nodes or
storage nodes.
- Remove the Flex System Manager management
node, if one is installed.
- Remove the node bay fillers and the chassis shelves,
if you want to reduce the weight of the chassis further.
- Remove the components from the rear of the chassis and
place them on a flat, static-protective surface.
- Remove all of the power supplies.
- Remove both of the 40 mm fan modules.
- Remove all of the 80 mm fan modules.
- Remove all of the I/O modules.
- Remove all of the Chassis Management
Modules.
