Use the information in this section to troubleshoot a power
supply problem.
Action
Complete the following steps until
the problem is solved:
- Check the CMM event
log or the Flex System Manager event
log, if one is installed, and resolve any issues pertaining to the
power supply.
- Make sure that the CMM power
management policy is set correctly.
- Check the status of the In, Out and Fault lights on the power
supply:
- If the In light is not lit, make sure that the outlet it is connected
to is powered and that the power cord is functional.
- If the In light remains off, replace the power supply.
- If the Out light is off, unplug the power cord for a few seconds,
then reconnect it. If the problem persists, replace the power supply.
- If the Fault light is on, unplug the power cord for a few seconds,
then reconnect it. If the problem persists, replace the power supply.
