Removing an RFID tag

Use this information to remove an RFID tag from the bezel. The RFID tag for the Flex System x222 Compute Node is installed on the upper compute node.

Before you remove an RFID tag, read Safety and Installation guidelines.

To remove an RFID tag, complete the following steps.

  1. Locate the RFID tag on the upper compute node bezel.
  2. If the RFID tag is attached to the hinge, open the RFID tag.
  3. Use pliers to carefully grip the hinge and gently pull and twist the base from the bezel.

If you are instructed to return an RFID tag, follow all packaging instructions, and use any packaging materials for shipping that are supplied to you.
