volts command

This command displays actual voltages and voltage threshold values for Flex System components.

If command syntax is not correctly entered, or if a command fails to run, an error message is returned. See Common errors for a list of error messages that apply to all commands or volts command errors for a list of error messages that are specific to the volts command.

The command table is a multi-row, four-column table where each row describes a CMM CLI command option: column one lists command function, column two provides a detailed command description, column three shows command-option syntax, and column four lists valid command targets.
Function What it does Command Target (see paths in Command targets)
Display voltage values Displays the current voltage and voltage threshold settings for the specified compute node.
Note: The voltage values that display will vary based on chassis and compute node type.

Compute node:
  • blade[x]
  • where x is the node bay number.
Example: To view the current voltage and voltage thresholds for the first compute node in the storage expansion enclosure in bay 11, while the Flex System Enterprise Chassis is set as the persistent command environment, at the system> prompt, type
volts -T bladeenclosure[11]:blade[1]

The following example shows the information that is returned from this command:
