Use these instructions to install a replacement cam handle on the storage expansion node.
Before you install the cam handle, read Safety and Installation guidelines.
This procedure requires only the cam handle and the larger of the two screws that are provided in the expansion node cam handle kit.
To install the cam handle, complete the following steps.
- Orient the handle so that the blue release latch is toward the middle of the storage expansion node.
- Align the hole in the handle with the hole on the storage expansion node where the handle is to be installed.
- Using a T15 Torx screwdriver, install the screw that is provided in the expansion node cam handle kit.
After you install the cam handle, install the storage expansion node assembly into the chassis. See Installing the storage expansion node in an Flex System Enterprise Chassis for instructions.
